In the late 1990s, BEP Marine began to design a circuit breaker
panel that would be superior to all other circuit breaker panels in
the world. The BEP Marine Circuit Breaker Switch
Panel is designed to meet ABYC (American Boat and Yacht
Council) standards for electrical safety and reliability. This
circuit breaker switch panel includes a raised profile (to prevent
accidental switching of breakers) and standard back-lit labels for
easier identification. It has a stylish curved plastic facias
covering all circuit breaker & meter retaining screws. This switch
panel has a trip free breaker. Trip free breakers will trip open on
overload, even when the toggle is forcibly held or restrained. This
prevents the operator from damaging the circuit by holding the
toggle in the on position.
